Yin Yang Fried Rice

AJI-GINISA® Flavor Seasoning Mix

Ingredients

Fried Rice:
  • 3 cups (480g) Rice, cooked
  • 3 pcs. (150g) Egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. (15ml) Cooking oil
  • 1 1/2 Tbsps. (15g) Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. (1g) Salt
  • 1/2 pack (4g) AJI-GINISA® Flavor Seasoning Mix
White Sauce:
  • 1/2 Tbsp. (7.5ml) Cooking oil
  • 3/4 cup (150g) Chicken breast, diced
  • 1/4 cup (25g) Carrots, small diced
  • 1/4 cup (25g) Corn kernels
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) Evaporated milk
  • 1/2 Tbsp. (5g) Cornstarch, dissolved in
  • 2 Tbsps. (30ml) Water
  • 1/8 tsp. (0.5g) Salt
  • 1/4 pack (2g) AJI-GINISA® Flavor Seasoning Mix
Red Sauce:
  • 1 Tbsp. (7.5ml) Cooking oil
  • 3/4 cup (150g) Chicken breast, diced
  • 1/4 cup (50g) Green peas
  • 1/4 cup (60g) Banana ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. (15g) Brown sugar
  • 1/2 Tbsp. (7.5ml) Vinegar
  • 1/2 Tbsp. (5g) Cornstarch, dissolved in
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Water
  • 1/8 tsp. (0.5g) Salt
  • 1/4 pack (2g) AJI-GINISA® Flavor Seasoning Mix
  • 1 Tbsp. (5g) Parsley, chopped (optional)

Procedure

  1. MIX. In a large bowl, combine rice and beaten egg. Mix well until each grain is coated with egg. Set aside.
  2. STIR-FRY & SEASON. In a wok, heat oil. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Add in the egg & rice mixture then stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and AJI-GINISA® then stir well until eggs are cooked. Set aside on a plate.
  3. SAUTÉ & SIMMER. To prepare the white sauce, heat oil in the same wok. Sauté chicken breast until slightly brown. Stir-fry the carrots and corn kernels for 1-2 minutes then pour in the evaporated milk, and cornstarch and water mixture. Stir until thickened. Season with salt and AJI-GINISA®, mix then set aside.
  4. SAUTÉ & SIMMER. To prepare the red sauce, heat oil in a separate wok. Sauté chicken breast until browned then add the green peas. In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, cornstarch, and water. Mix well then add this mixture to the wok. Stir then let it simmer until thickened. Season with salt and AJI-GINISA®, mix then set aside.
  5. SERVE. Transfer fried rice to a serving platter. Pour the white sauce on one side of the rice then pour the red sauce on the other side. Garnish with parsley (optional), then serve!

Cooking Tips

To achieve a yinyang-like look, use a foil then form it into an "S-shape" on top of the rice. Pour the white sauce on one side, then the red sauce on the other. Remove the foil then serve.
