Tomato and Cream Cheese Toast

AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Tomato, diced
  • 1/4 tsp Basil, dried
  • 1 tsp Garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp Iodized salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • half pack of 11 g AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
  • 1 cup Cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Parsley, fresh, chopped
  • 1 piece Baguette
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Procedure

  1. MIX. In a bowl, add in diced tomatoes, dried basil leaves, and minced garlic. Mix with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and AJI-NO-MOTO®. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese with chopped parsley. Set aside.
  2. TOAST. Slice the baguette into 1" thick pieces, drizzle with olive oil before toasting on pan for 30 seconds on both sides.
  3. SERVE. Spread 2 tsp of cream cheese on one side of the toasted bread then add 1 tbsp of the marinated tomatoes. Serve and enjoy!

Cooking Tips

Instead of baguette, you can try using a day-old pan de sal. Just slice it in half crosswise. Too good to waste!
