Stir Fried Fillet Tilapia with Saging Saba and Coconut Milk
AJI-GINISA® Flavor Seasoning MixIngredients
- 10 slices (600g) Tilapia, medium, fillet
- 1/2 pack (4g) AJI-GINISA® Flavor Seasoning Mix
- 2 Tbsps. (30ml) Cooking oil
- 2 pcs. (150g) Banana saba, cut into 3 equal pieces
- 3/4 cup (50g) Red bell pepper, strips
- 3/4 cup (50g) Green bell pepper, strips
- 2 cups (200g) String beans, cut into 2.5" pieces
- 1 cup (250ml) Coconut milk
- 5 tsps. (25ml) Fish sauce
- 1/2 pack (4g) AJI-GINISA® Flavor Seasoning Mix
- Parsley, chopped (optional)
Procedure
- SEASON. Season tilapia with AJI-GINISA® evenly. Set aside for a few minutes.
- PAN-FRY. In a pan, heat oil. Pan-fry tilapia for 1 minute or until golden brown on each side. Remove from the pan then pan-fry saba until golden on all sides. Remove from the pan.
- STIR-FRY. On the same pan, add red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and string beans. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- SEASON & SIMMER. Add coconut milk, fish sauce, and AJI-GINISA®. Mix well and simmer for 2 minutes. Add back the fish and saba then cook for another minute.
- SERVE. Transfer to a serving dish. Serve and enjoy while hot.
Cooking Tips
Panfrying the tilapia and saba gives it a sturdier texture to avoid it from falling apart once these are combined with the sauce.
