Quick Cajun Fish Tacos
AJI-SHIO® Garlic Seasoning MixIngredients
- 1/2 kg (500g) Fish fillet
- 1/2 pack (9g) AJI-SHIO® Garlic Seasoning Mix
- 1/2 tsp. (2g) Cajun seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. (15ml) Olive oil
- 3 Tbsps. (45g) Jalapeno chili, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups (70g) Cabbage, shredded
- 1/4 cup (50g) Mayonnaise
- 1 cup (180g) Pineapple, tidbits
- 2 Tbsps. (20g) Garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. (2g) Cajun seasoning
- 5 pcs. (125g) Tortilla wrapper, small
- 1/2 cup (10g) Coriander leaves, chopped
Procedure
- SEASON. In a bowl, season fish fillet with AJI-SHIO® Garlic and cajun seasoning. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- PAN-FRY. In a pan, heat oil. Fry fish fillet until golden brown. Let it cool then flake fish. Set aside.
- TOSS. In a seperate bowl, combine jalapeno chili, cabbage, mayonnaise, pineapple, garlic, and cajun seasoning. Toss well.
- SERVE. Warm the flour tortillas in the toaster. Divide the slaw among the tortillas. Top with the fish then sprinkle with coriander leaves. Serve and enjoy.
Cooking Tips
You may substitute Jalapeno chili with green chili. To make homemade cajun seasoning, combine paprika powder, onion powder, dried basil, garlic powder, chili powder, and dried thyme.
