Pork Nilaga
AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 5 cups (1,250ml) Water
- 1/2 kilo (500g) Pork picnic, cubed
- 1/4 cup (50g) Onion, red, quartered
- 1 cup (170g) Potato, quartered
- 1 tsp. (2g) Peppercorn
- 1/2 pack (5g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 2 cups (100g) Pechay Tagalog, sliced in half
- 1/2 cup (20g) Onion leeks, sliced
- 3 Tbsps. (45ml) Fish sauce
Procedure
- Boil. In a pot, add water and pork. Cook until tender. Add onion and potatoes then cook until soft.
- Season. Add peppercorn and AJI-NO-MOTO®. Mix well then lower the fire.
- Simmer. Add pechay and onion leeks. Cook for a minute. Add fish sauce to taste.
- Serve. Serve and Enjoy.
Cooking Tips
You may quickly boil the pork with water, then drain, and rinse prior to cooking to remove blood and impurities.
