Pickled Green Tomatoes
AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- (370g) Green Tomatoes, round sliced
- 1/2 cup (118ml) Vinegar
- 1 pack (11g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 4 tsps. (23g) Salt
- 2 tsps. (12g) Sugar, white
- 3 cups (708ml) Water
- 1 tsp. (6g) Peppercorn
- 1/8 tsp. (0.8g) Lemon zest
- 1 tbsp. (10g) Garlic, crushed
Procedure
- SIMMER. In a saucepan, add vinegar, AJI-NO-MOTO®, salt, sugar, and water. Simmer until everything is dissolved.
- STORE. In a mason jar, place peppercorn, lemon zest, garlic, and tomatoes. Then add the pickling water into the jar and let it cool.
