Pickled Green Tomatoes

AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning

Ingredients

  • (370g) Green Tomatoes, round sliced
  • 1/2 cup (118ml) Vinegar
  • 1 pack (11g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
  • 4 tsps. (23g) Salt
  • 2 tsps. (12g) Sugar, white
  • 3 cups (708ml) Water
  • 1 tsp. (6g) Peppercorn
  • 1/8 tsp. (0.8g) Lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp. (10g) Garlic, crushed

Procedure

  1. SIMMER. In a saucepan, add vinegar, AJI-NO-MOTO®, salt, sugar, and water. Simmer until everything is dissolved.
  2. STORE. In a mason jar, place peppercorn, lemon zest, garlic, and tomatoes. Then add the pickling water into the jar and let it cool.
