One Pot Adobong Tuna

SARSAYA® Oyster Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Tbsps. Cooking oil
  • 3 1/2 Tbsps. Garlic, peeled, crushed
  • 3 1/2 Tbsps. Onions, minced
  • 1 tsp. Ginger, minced
  • 1-2 pcs. Tuna, steak-cut
  • 5 1/2 Tbsps. Soy sauce
  • 1 pack SARSAYA® Oyster Sauce
  • 3 1/2 Tbsps. Vinegar
  • 2 pcs. Laurel leaves
  • 1/8 tsp. Black peppercorn, whole
  • 3 1/2 cups Water
  • 2 cups Rice, uncooked

Procedure

  1. SAUTE. Heat oil in a pan. Add tuna and saute until cooked. Add garlic, onions, and ginger until fragrant.
  2. SIMMER. Add soy sauce, SARSAYA® Oyster Sauce, vinegar, laurel leaves, black peppercorn, and water to simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside tuna. Add rice and water if needed until rice is cooked.
  3. STEAM. Add back tuna on top of the rice and steam for 3 minutes.
  4. SERVE. Transfer onto a serving plate or serve pan directly.

Cooking Tips

For step 2, optional to mix while cooking rice to cook more evenly.
