No Peel Pumpkin Soup
AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 1 kilo (1000g) Pumpkin, trimmed, not peeled
- 4 cups (1000ml) Water
- 1 1/4 tbsp. (20ml) Olive Oil
- 3/4 cup (25g) White onions, minced
- 1 3/4 tbsp. (15g) Garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup (200ml) Milk
- 3 1/4 cup (800ml) Water
- 1/2 tsp. (2.5g) Salt, iodized
- 1 pack (11g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
Procedure
- BOIL. In a large saucepot, boil pumpkin until soft. Drain and set aside.
- SAUTE. In a heavy saucepot, heat olive oil and saute onions and garlic until fragrant. Add pumpkin, milk, and water to simmer for 5 minutes.
- SEASON. Season soup with salt and AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning.
- BLEND. In a blender, add soup to blend until preferred soup consistency.
- SERVE. Transfer onto serving bowl and enjoy!
