AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsps. Cooking oil
  • 1 1/2 cups Pork strips
  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup White onions, sliced
  • 1 cup Tomatoes, diced
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 cup Mung beans, soaked in 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp. Fish sauce
  • 1 pack AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
  • 2 tsps. Soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups Malunggay leaves

Procedure

  1. SAUTE. Heat oil in a wok pan. Saute pork strips for 4 minutes. Add garlic, onions, and tomatoes until fragrant.
  2. SIMMER. Add water to simmer. Then add mung beans to cook for 20-30 minutes. Add fish sauce.
  3. SEASON. Season with AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning and soy sauce for the ultimate umami mix.
  4. SIMMER. Lower the heat and add malunggay leaves to simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. SERVE. Transfer onto serving bowls and enjoy!

Cooking Tips

Add additional water for step 2 if mung beans is not fully cooked and already dry.
