Lumpiang Lechon Cebu
AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
Lechon Lumpia:
- 1 1/4 cup (300g) Lechon, chopped
- 1/8 cup (30g) Carrot, sliced
- 1/4 cup (80g) Cabbage, sliced
- 1 tbsp (10g) Garlic, minced
- 1 1/16 tbsp (35g) Onions, minced
- 1 tsp (8g) Salt
- 1 egg (50g) Eggs, scrambled
- 1/8 cup (30ml) Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp (5ml) Sesame Oil
- 3/4 pack (8g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 12 wrapper (30g) Lumpia Wrapper
- 1 bottle (1000ml) Cooking Oil
- 1/4 cup (75ml) Vinegar
- 1/4 cup (75ml) Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp (10g) Chilis, chopped
- 1 tbsp (10g) Brown sugar
- 1 tsp (5g) Red onion, minced
- 1 tsp (5g) Garlic, minced
Procedure
- MIX. For the Lechon Lumpia: In a large bowl, combine and mix all ingredients for lumpia.
- WRAP. Scoop around 45g or 3 tbsp of mixture and place it in the middle of the wrapper then close the sides first then roll.
- FRY. Heat cooking oil on a deep pan. Fry until golden brown then set aside.
- SERVE. Transfer cooked Lechon Lumpia into a plate then serve with Lumpia Sauce!
- MIX. For the Lumpia Sauce: In a sauce bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, and vinegar together.
- SERVE. Add chilis, red onions, and garlic into the sauce bowl. Serve and enjoy!
Cooking Tips
Make sure to close the lumpia on the wrapping step, to avoid leakage when frying.
