Lumpiang Baboy at Carrots
AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 1/2 kilo (500g) Pork, ground
- 1 1/2 cups (160g) Carrots, grated
- 1/4 cup (45g) Onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. (10g) Garlic, chopped
- 1 pc (50g) Egg, beaten
- 2 Tbsps. (20g) Cornstarch
- 1/2 pack (5.5g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 3 Tbsp (45ml) Soy sauce
- 1/8 tsp. (0.5g) Black pepper, ground
- 1 Tbsp (15g) Sugar, white
- 30 pcs. (30g) Lumpia wrapper
- 1 cup (250ml) Cooking oil
Procedure
- MIX. In one bowl, combine pork, carrots, onions, garlic, egg, cornstarch, AJI-NO-MOTO®, soy sauce, pepper, and sugar. Mix well.
- WRAP. Place 2 Tablespoons of mixture in each lumpia wrapper, roll and seal the end with water. Finish all the mixtures by doing this step.
- DEEP-FRY. Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry lumpia over medium heat until golden brown.
- SERVE. Remove from the pan, drain excess oil and transfer on a serving platter. Serve and enjoy!
Cooking Tips
Aside from beaten egg and water, you may also use flour and water mixture to seal the lumpia.
