Kutsay Dumpling
AJI-NO-MOTO ® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 1 cup (200g) Ground pork
- 3/4 cup (50g) Kutsay, chopped
- 1/2 pc. (40g) White onion, minced
- 5 cloves (15g) Garlic, minced
- 1 pc. (50g) Egg
- 1 tsp. (5g) Ginger, minced
- 1 Tbsp. (10g) All-purpose flour
- 1 pack (11g) AJI-NO-MOTO ® Umami Seasoning
- 1/8 tsp. (1g) Salt, iodized
- pinch (0.8g) Pepper, ground
- 28 pcs. (140g) Dumpling wrapper
- 2 cups (500ml) Water
- 1 tsp. (7g) Sugar, white
- 1 tsp. (7ml) Mirin
- 1 tsp. (8g) Chili oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. (22ml) Soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. (10ml) Sesame Oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. (10g) Sesame Seeds
Procedure
- MIX. In a large bowl, combine pork, kutsay, white onions, garlic, egg, ginger, all-purpose flour, AJI-NO-MOTO ®, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- WRAP. Grab a teaspoon of the meat mixture then put it onto the dumpling wrapper. Damp the edges of the dumpling wrapper to close. (Form dumpling to preferred shapes)
- STEAM. Place dumplings onto the steamer for 8-10 minutes.
- MIX. For the sweet chili sauce, mix sugar, mirin, chili oil, soy sauce, sesame oil and sesame seeds in a bowl.
- SERVE. Place dumplings onto a serving plate. Enjoy with sweet chili sauce!
Cooking Tips
Electric steamer can be substituted with a strainer over a pot of water.
