Inasal Skewers 3 Ways
AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 2 1/2 cups (500g) Chicken thighs, boneless
- 3 cups (500g) Pork liempo, quartered
- 2 pcs. (310g) Bangus, boneless
- 3 packs (33g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 4-5 pcs. (40g) Lemongrass, crushed
- 3 Tbsps. (25g) Ginger, minced
- 1 cup (90g) Garlic, minced
- 1 cup (156g) Brown sugar
- 3 1/3 cup (750ml) Vinegar
- 1/4 cup (60ml) Annatto oil, (Store-bought or heat annatto seeds to your preferred oil)
- 6 pcs. (2.4g) Calamansi, juiced
- 1 1/3 Tbsps. (60g) Margarine
- 4 Tbsps. (60ml) Annatto oil, (Store-bought or heat annatto seeds to your preferred oil)
Procedure
- MARINATE. In three separate bowls, place the (1) chicken thighs, (2) pork liempo, and (3) bangus. Evenly divide and add AJI-NO-MOTO®, lemongrass, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, vinegar, annatto oil, and calamansi to each bowl. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes.
- SKEW. After marinating, skew each meat on a bbq stick.
- WHISK. Whisk margarine and annato oil for basting.
- GRILL. Grill each skewer until browned. (Baste with basting sauce)
- SERVE. Transfer onto serving plate and enjoy!
Cooking Tips
Dip the barbeque sticks in water to lessen burn from grilling.
