Grilled Panga ng Tuna
Sarsaya® Oyster SauceIngredients
- 4 cups (895g) Tuna jaw, cleaned
- 1/4 cup (60ml) Soy sauce
- 2 packs (60g) SARSAYA® Oyster Sauce
- 2 1/3 tbsp. (20g) Garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. (5g) Red chili, trimmed
- 1/4 cup (50g) Brown sugar
- 2/3 tbsp. (10ml) Lemon, juiced
- 1/8 tsp. (1g) Black pepper
- 1 pack (30g) SARSAYA® Oyster Sauce
- 1/3 tbsp. (5ml) Vinegar
- 1 3/4 tbsp. (25g) Brown Sugar
Procedure
- MARINATE. On a large bowl, combine tuna jaw, soy sauce, SARSAYA®, garlic, red chili, brown sugar, lemon juice, and black pepper. Marinate for 1 hour.
- GRILL. On a grill or airfryer, grill marinated tuna jaw for 5-7 mins each side or until cooked.
- BASTE. On a small bowl, combine SARSAYA®, vinegar and brown sugar to baste tuna jaw while grilling. Cook until charred.
- SERVE. Transfer onto a serving plate and enjoy!
Cooking Tips
Make sure to use medium heat to not burn tuna jaw.
