AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 2 Tbsps. (30ml) Cooking oil
- 1/4 cup (60g) Onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsps. (30g) Garlic, finely chopped
- 1 cup (100g) Tomato, chopped
- 1/3 cup (80g) Shrimp, peeled, deveined
- 1 cup (250g) Water
- 3 cups (350g) Upo, sliced
- 1/2 pack (5.5g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 2 Tbsps. (30ml) Fish sauce
- 1/8 tsp (0.3g) Black pepper, ground
Procedure
- SAUTÉ. In a pan, heat oil. Sauté onion, garlic, and tomatoes. Add shrimps and continue cooking for 3 minutes.
- SIMMER. Add water and upo, simmer for 5 minutes.
- SEASON. Season with AJI-NO-MOTO®, fish sauce, and pepper. Mix well.
- SERVE. Transfer to a serving plate, serve and enjoy.
Cooking Tips
Cut the bottle gourd few minutes before cooking to avoid discoloration.
