Ginisang Upo
AJI-NO-MOTO® UMAMI SEASONINGIngredients
- 2 Tbsps. (30ml) Cooking oil
- 2 Tbsps. (30g) Onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsps. (20g) Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup (60g) Tomato, sliced
- 1 cup (250g) Pork, strips
- 4 cups (500g) Upo, medium cube
- 1 cup (250ml) Water
- 1/8 tsp. (0.5g) Black pepper, ground
- 1/2 pack (5.5g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 4 tsps. (20ml) Fish sauce
Procedure
- SAUTÉ. Heat oil in a pan then saute onion and garlic until fragrant. Add pork strips then cook until tender and golden brown. Add upo, mix well and saute until half cooked.
- SIMMER. Add water and let it simmer for at least 5 minutes.
- SEASON. Add pepper, AJI-NO-MOTO® and fish sauce, mix well. Continue to cook for another minute.
- SERVE. Transfer to a serving plate then serve while hot.
Cooking Tips
You can also chop the Upo into small cubes for faster cooking.
