Ginisang Upo

AJI-NO-MOTO® UMAMI SEASONING

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsps. (30ml) Cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsps. (30g) Onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsps. (20g) Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (60g) Tomato, sliced
  • 1 cup (250g) Pork, strips
  • 4 cups (500g) Upo, medium cube
  • 1 cup (250ml) Water
  • 1/8 tsp. (0.5g) Black pepper, ground
  • 1/2 pack (5.5g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
  • 4 tsps. (20ml) Fish sauce

Procedure

  1. SAUTÉ. Heat oil in a pan then saute onion and garlic until fragrant. Add pork strips then cook until tender and golden brown. Add upo, mix well and saute until half cooked.
  2. SIMMER. Add water and let it simmer for at least 5 minutes.
  3. SEASON. Add pepper, AJI-NO-MOTO® and fish sauce, mix well. Continue to cook for another minute.
  4. SERVE. Transfer to a serving plate then serve while hot.

Cooking Tips

You can also chop the Upo into small cubes for faster cooking.
