Garlic Confit
AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 4 heads (200g) Garlic, peeled
- 1/2 cup (100ml) Olive oil
- 1 pack (11g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- pinch (0.8g) Salt
- 2 tsp. (5g) Thyme
Procedure
- SIMMER. In a saucepan, place leftover garlic and fill it with olive oil until garlic is covered. Simmer for 10-15 minutes on low heat. (Must be slightly browned but low heat)
- SEASON. Half way through the simmering process, season with AJI-NO-MOTO®, salt and thyme. (or any preferred herbs) (5 minutes to finish)
- STORE. Place garlic confit in a jar with its olive oil. (Can be stored in fridge for 2 weeks and in freezer for 3 months)

Uses: Spreads, salads, or dishes with garlic to enhance the garlic flavor.
