Fried Chicken 4 Ways
CRISPY FRY® Original Breading MixIngredients
- 8 pc. (legs) 8 pcs. (wings) (2000g) Chicken, legs and wings
- 2 packs (124g) Crispy Fry® Original
- 4 cups (1000ml) Cooking oil
- 2 1/4 tbsp. (20g) Garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp. (40g) Honey
- 2 tsp. (10ml) Water
- 2 tsp. (10ml) Hot sauce
- 1/4 cup (50g) Honey
- 1/4 cup (45g) Butter
- 1/3 cup (85ml) Olive oil
- 1/3 cup (45g) Garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup (50g) Parmesan
- 1/4 cup (75g) Ketchup
- 1 tbsp. (20g) Honey
- 1/4 cup (50ml) Worcetershire sauce
- 1 1/4 tbsp. (20ml) Vinegar
- 1 1/4 tsp. (5g) Paprika
- 2 tsp. (10g) Brown Sugar
Procedure
- COAT. In a bowl, coat chicken with Crispy Fry® Original.
- FRY. In a pan, heat oil and fry chicken until golden brown. Set aside.
- HONEY GARLIC SAUCE. Scoop 2 tablespoons of oil from frying chicken and heat it in a saucepan over medium heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Add honey and water, stirring until desired consistency is reached. Set aside.
- BUFFALO SAUCE. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine hot sauce, honey, and butter. Stir for 2 minutes until incorporated. Set aside.
- GARLIC PARMESAN. In a saucepan, olive oil then saute garlic. Lower the heat and add parmesan. Set aside.
- BBQ SAUCE. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, honey, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, paprika, and brown sugar. Stir until smooth and no lumps remain. Set aside.
- COAT AND SERVE. In each prepared sauce, place 4 pieces of fried chicken (2 legs, 2 wings) and fully coat them. Transfer to a platter and serve.
Cooking Tips
Submerge the chicken with water, salt, and pepper. Wash chicken and pat dry before coating with Crispy Fry to achieve a crispier skin.
