Crispy Adobo Paella
Crispy Fry® OriginalIngredients
- 4 pcs. (330g) Chicken, legs and thighs
- 1/3 cup (100ml) Soy sauce
- 3 1/2 Tbsps. (50g) Brown sugar
- 1/3 cup (90ml) Vinegar
- 3 cloves (15g) Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. (5g) Peppercorn
- 3 pcs. (0.3g) Bayleaves
- 1 pack (30g) Crispy Fry® Original
- 4 cups (850ml) Cooking oil
- 3 cloves (15g) Garlic, minced
- 1/2 pc. (35g) Onion, minced
- 2 cups (330g) Rice, (Japanese or Paella)
- 2 1/2 cups (600ml) Water
Procedure
- MARINATE. In a bowl, add chicken, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic, peppercorn, and bayleaves. Marinate for atleast 30 minutes.
- COAT. After marinating, coat the chicken with Crispy Fry® Original.
- DEEP-FRY. Heat oil in a deep pan. Deep-fry chicken until golden brown. Set aside.
- SAUTE. In a paellera, heat oil and saute garlic and onions until fragrant. Add rice and saute for 1 minute.
- SIMMER. Add excess marinade to the pan and add water. Simmer until rice is cooked. (Add water if needed)
- SERVE. Add the chicken onto the pan and enjoy!
Cooking Tips
Mix rice midway through cooking to ensure evenly cooking.
