Creamy Mushroom Soup (using Vegetable Soup)
AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 1 1/4 tbsp. (20ml) Olive Oil
- 2 tsp. (10g) Butter
- 4 cups (300g) Shitake Mushroom, canned
- 1/4 cup (20g) Onion, minced
- 2 3/4 cups (689ml) Vegetable broth
- 3 pcs. (176g) Potato, diced (small)
- 1 cup (245ml) Milk, whole, fresh
- 1 pack (11g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. (3g) Salt
Procedure
- SAUTE. In a heavy saucepan, heat oil then saute mushroom and onions for 2 minutes.
- BOIL. Add vegetable soup to the pot. Boil until potatoes are soft. Then add the milk and season with AJI-NO-MOTO®.
- BLEND. Put soup into a blender and blend until smooth.
- SERVE . Transfer onto serving bowl and enjoy!
Cooking Tips
Potatoes can be substituted with all-purpose cream to thicken the soup.
