Caesar Salad with Chicken

CRISPY FRY® Original Breading Mix

Ingredients

  • 2-3 fillets (500g) Chicken breast, fillet
  • 1 pack (30g) CRISPY FRY® Original
  • 1/4 cup (50ml) Cooking oil
  • 2 1/2 Tbsps. (30ml) Olive oil
  • 4 loaves (115g) Bread (crouton), sliced into squares
  • 1 tsp. (3g) Sugar, white
  • 1 tsp. (3g) Salt, iodized
  • 4 cups (500g) Romaine Lettuce, roughly chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup (350g) Caesar dressing (Store bought or Homemade)
  • 1/2 cup (100g) Parmesan cheese

Procedure

  1. POUND. On a chopping board, pound chicken until flattened.
  2. COAT. Coat the chicken breast with CRISPY FRY® Original.
  3. FRY. On a pan, heat cooking oil and fry chicken breast on medium heat. On a separate pan, heat olive oil and fry bread (croutons) until crunchy. Season croutons with sugar and salt.
  4. ASSEMBLE. On a bowl, mix romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, and 1/2 of parmesan cheese and 1/2 of croutons.
  5. SERVE. Transfer salad onto a serving bowl. Add the sliced chicken fillet. Garnish with croutons and parmesan cheese. Serve and enjoy!

Cooking Tips

Pounding the chicken ensures to cook it evenly and as well as to tenderize the meat.
