AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 5 pcs (190g) Leftover loaf bread, sliced into squares
  • 4 pcs (200ml) Egg, beaten
  • 1 pack (11g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
  • 1 tsp. (1g) Parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. (5ml) Cooking oil
  • 6 Tbsps. (90g) Tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup (50g) Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 Tbsp. (10g) Bell pepper, strips
  • 1/2 Tbsp. (7.5g) Onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup (30g) Sweet ham, triangular cut

Procedure

  1. SLICE. Slice bread into squares.
  2. MIX. In a bowl, beat eggs. Add AJI-NO-MOTO®, and parsley. Mix well. Pour into the bread slices until well coated.
  3. PAN-FRY. In a heated pan, put oil. Pour the bread mixture. Spread out evenly. Heat on very low fire for 5 minutes. Cover with lid. After 5 minutes, flip the bread upside down exposing the toasted side.
  4. ASSEMBLE. Top bread with tomato sauce and spread evenly. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Add the rest of the toppings. Cover once again and heat for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  5. SERVE. Transfer bread pizza on a plate. Serve while hot.

Cooking Tips

Use at least a 10-inch round pan for this recipe to fit the bread. If a small pan is available, you can split the recipe into 2 to fit the bread mixture.
