Stir-fried Gambas

Gambas is a Spanish term for prawns but locally this dish can be cooked with any size of shrimp. This is a heart-healthy dish because shrimps contain omega-3 fatty acids. You can cook this dish in 4 quick steps under 30 minutes. First combine peeled and deveined shrimps with chili powder and let it sit for a few minutes before stir-frying. While stir-frying the shrimps in oil and cooking wine, make sure that the pan is large enough to contain the shrimps and likewise very hot to allow it to cook well. Crepe is a French word for pancake, they are likewise called galettes and described as flat and very thin pancakes. To make the batter for the crepe, combine ½ cup of all-purpose flour, 1 ½ cup of fresh milk, ¼ teaspoon of rock salt, 3 eggs, and 1 tablespoon of oil in a medium bowl and mix well. Assemble the crepe by adding the mushroom filling at the center, folding both sides of the crepe, drizzling it with pesto sauce on top and garnishing it with tomatoes.

 

The last on the menu is classic dish that is simple to make but should be carefully prepared with quality ingredients and a well-seasoned broth. The first step is to sauté thin slices of white onions with butter and olive oil. Cook the onions for at least 15-20 minutes while stirring often until they soften. To instantly add flavor to the dish, season onions with PorkSavor® All-in-One Seasoning Mix, this can likewise make the broth richer. Pour 2 cups of water and add 2 tablespoons. dry wine, 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, thyme, rosemary, and oregano. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Pour the onion soup in a cup and top it with toasted bread and grated cheese. Place the cup into the oven until the cheese melts. This onion soup is a good source of vitamin C to keep you warm and healthy.
