Tomato and Cream Cheese Toast
AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 2 cups Tomato, diced
- 1/4 tsp Basil, dried
- 1 tsp Garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tsp Balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp Iodized salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- half pack of 11 g AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 1 cup Cream cheese
- 1 tsp Parsley, fresh, chopped
- 1 piece Baguette
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Procedure
- MIX. In a bowl, add in diced tomatoes, dried basil leaves, and minced garlic. Mix with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and AJI-NO-MOTO®. In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese with chopped parsley. Set aside.
- TOAST. Slice the baguette into 1" thick pieces, drizzle with olive oil before toasting on pan for 30 seconds on both sides.
- SERVE. Spread 2 tsp of cream cheese on one side of the toasted bread then add 1 tbsp of the marinated tomatoes. Serve and enjoy!
Cooking Tips
Instead of baguette, you can try using a day-old pan de sal. Just slice it in half crosswise. Too good to waste!
