Taiwanese Fried Chicken
CRISPY FRY® OriginalIngredients
- 2 whole pcs. (1000g) Chicken Breast, fillet ; butterfly cut
- 2 Tbsps. (30ml) Rice vinegar
- 2 1/2 tsps. (10ml) Soy Sauce
- 1/8 tsp. (1g) Ground pepper
- 1 tsp. (5g) Five spice
- 2 tsps. (10g) Sugar
- 1 pack (62g) CRISPY FRY® Original
- 2 cups (500ml) Cooking oil
Procedure
- . 1. MARINATE. In a bowl add chicken, rice vinegar, soy sauce, pepper, five spice, and sugar. Marinate for atleast 15 minutes.
- . 2. COAT. On a separate bowl, add CRISPY FRY® Original and coat chicken breast thoroughly.
- . 3. FRY. On a deep pan, heat oil and fry chicken breast for 5-7 mins. Or until golden brown.
- . 4. SERVE. Transfer onto serving plate and enjoy with a bowl of rice.
Cooking Tips
It is optional to use a meat tenderizer hammer to achieve tenderness of the chicken breast.
