Burger Steak with Mushroom Gravy
Crispy Fry® Gravy MixIngredients
- 2 cups (500g) Beef, ground
- 2 cups (500g) Pork, ground
- 1/4 cup (26g) Red onion, minced
- 1 Tbsp. (15g) Garlic, minced
- 2 pcs. (100g) Egg, beaten
- 1 pack (80g) Breadcrumbs
- 2 Tbsps. (30ml) Milk, fresh
- 1 tsp. (5g) Salt, iodized
- 1 tsp. (3g) Black Pepper, ground
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Cooking Oil
- 2 cups (500g) Water
- 1 can (198g) Mushroom, canned, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. (15g) Parsley, chopped
- 2 packs (40g) Crispy Fry® Gravy Mix
Procedure
- COMBINE. Combine the burger patty ingredients (beef, pork, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, and pepper). Scoop about 1/3 cup, roll into a sphere, press into a disk, and repeat until all the mixture is used.
- PAN-FRY. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Pan-fry each side over medium heat for 4 minutes. Set aside.
- BOIL. Prepare the mushroom gravy by dissolving CRISPY FRY® GRAVY MIX in 2 cups water. Mix thoroughly to avoid lumps and bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
- SIMMER. Then add the mushroom slices before reducing the heat to simmer for 1 minute. Continuously stir until thickened.
- SERVE. Place a cup of rice on a plate, add 2-3 pcs of burger patties on top. Drizzle with mushroom gravy and garnish with parsley.

Adding milk to your patty mixture helps keep it moist and tender by adding moisture and enhancing flavor.
