Pickled Radish
AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 3/4 pc. (250g) Radish, medium cubed
- 1/4 cup (46ml) Vinegar
- 1/3 cup (66g) Sugar, white
- 1 pack (11g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. (2.5g) Salt, iodized
- 1/2 cup (118ml) Water
Procedure
- SIMMER. In a small saucepot, add vinegar, sugar, salt, AJI-NO-MOTO® and water. Simmer until sugar and salt is dissolved.
- STORE. Place radish onto a sterilized jar and pour the pickling liquid in the jar. Close the lid tightly and let it sit in room temperature for 3-4 hours before putting into the refrigerator.
Cooking Tips
You can add yellow food coloring or turmeric onto the pickling liquid to achieve a Korean pickled radish.
