Pork Nilaga Mami

PORKSAVOR® All-in-One Seasoning Mix

Ingredients

Leftover Pork Nilaga:
  • 1 1/2 cups (200g) Pork
  • 2 cups (500ml) Soup
  • 1/4 cup (300g) Cabbage
  • 1 Tbsp. (15ml) Cooking oil
  • 1 pack (250g) Miki noodles, fresh
  • 1 pack (8g) PORK SAVOR®
  • 2 cups (500ml) Water
  • 4 pcs (200g) Boiled egg
  • 1/4 cup (20g) Leeks
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Evaporated milk
  • 1/4 tsp (0.5g) White pepper

Procedure

  1. CHOP. Separate vegetables, pork, and soup from the leftover Pork Nilaga. Chop the pork and vegetables into strips.
  2. BOIL. Prepare miki noodles as per instruction. Make sure it is thoroughly washed to reduce saltiness of the miki. Set aside. Boil Pork Nilaga soup for at least 3 minutes. Add the miki noodles onto the Pork Nilaga Soup and let it boil for another 5 minutes.
  3. SEASON. Season with PORK SAVOR®. Add water. Mix well and let it boil for at least 3 minutes.
  4. ASSEMBLE. Once all ingredients are ready, get a serving bowl. Place ingredients one-by-one: miki noodles, pork strips, cabbage strips, boiled egg, and leeks. Pour over Pork Nilaga Soup. Add 4 teaspoons of milk and sprinkle with white pepper.
  5. SERVE. Serve while hot. Enjoy!

Cooking Tips

To add garlic taste in the dish, feel free to use minced garlic fried in atsuete oil. It will also add color and spice to this dish.
