Leftover Bread Pudding
AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami SeasoningIngredients
- 3 pcs (150ml) Eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup (100g) Sugar, white
- 1 1/2 cups (390ml) Milk, whole, fresh
- 1/2 pack (5.5g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
- 1/4 tsp (1g) Salt
- 1 tsp (1g) Cinnamon
- 1 tsp (3.5g) Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp (5g) Butter, softened, unsalted
- 5 cups (180g) Loaf bread, sliced into squares
- 1/2 cup (25g) Raisins
- 1 Tbsp (15g)Sugar, brown
Procedure
- MIX. Mix together eggs, sugar, milk, AJI-NO-MOTO®, salt, cinammon, and vanilla
- SOAK. Brush bottom and sides of baking pan with butter. Place leftover bread evenly. Pour over the mixture and let the bread soak for about 15 minutes. Top with raisins and sprinkle with brown sugar
- BAKE. Preheat oven at 200C. Bake the pudding for 45 minutes or until golden brown on top
- SERVE. Once cooled, remove from pan and slice. Serve and enjoy!
Cooking Tips
To add some fun to the dish, sprinkle chocolate chips or nuts on top of the pudding
