Sinigang na Bangus sa Bayabas

AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 5 cups  (1250ml) Water
  • 2/3 cup (150g) Guava, quartered
  • 1/4 cup (65g) Tomato, quartered
  • 1 tsp. (2g) Whole peppercorn
  • 3 tbsp. (45ml) Fish sauce
  • 1 pc. (450g) Bangus, sliced
  • 1/4 cup (30g) Okra, sliced
  • 2 pcs. (5g) Green Chillies
  • 1 cup (30g) Kangkong leaves
  • 1 pack (11g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning

Procedure

  1. BOIL. Boil water in a saucepan. Add guava, tomato, and whole peppercorns. Cook until they are soft enough to be mashed with a fork.
  2. COOK. Add bangus and cook for 10 minutes. Add fish sauce, then boil for another 5 minutes. Add okra, green chillies, and kangkong leaves to the pot.
  3. SEASON. Season with AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning.
  4. SERVE. Transfer onto a serving bowl and enjoy!
