AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 5 cups (1,250ml) Water
  • 1/2 kilo (500g) Pork picnic, cubed
  • 1/4 cup (50g) Onion, red, quartered
  • 1 cup (170g) Potato, quartered
  • 1 tsp. (2g) Peppercorn
  • 1/2 pack (5g) AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning
  • 2 cups (100g) Pechay Tagalog, sliced in half
  • 1/2 cup (20g) Onion leeks, sliced
  • 3 Tbsps. (45ml) Fish sauce

Procedure

  1. Boil. In a pot, add water and pork. Cook until tender. Add onion and potatoes then cook until soft.
  2. Season. Add peppercorn and AJI-NO-MOTO®. Mix well then lower the fire.
  3. Simmer. Add pechay and onion leeks. Cook for a minute. Add fish sauce to taste.
  4. Serve. Serve and Enjoy.

Cooking Tips

You may quickly boil the pork with water, then drain, and rinse prior to cooking to remove blood and impurities.
